FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - COMBAZZLE

Is there stage/last stage in Combazzle?
No. In Combazzle, the game lasts as long as you keep blocks from filling up the screen. In Two-Player Mode, game ends if one of players fails to prevent screen from filling up. The game gets challenging because you can create and send obstacle blocks to the other player's screen, disturbing his/her game play. The player who stays alive longer wins.

How does Two-Player Mode work in Combazzle?
In Two-Player Mode of Combazzle, two players control the game using one single Hiptop/Sidekick machine together. Player1 controls the game on the left side of Hiptop (using D-Pad), while Player2 controls the game on the right side of Hiptop (using Wheel button, Cancel Key, and Back Key). Some people find it a little uncomfortable doing this, because Hiptop is not a big machine. However, when you try this, it is actually not that bad. It would be better to have two different players each having his/her Hiptop, with those two Hiptops communicating with each other via wireless network. However, there is network latency that makes real-time competition very hard to implement in current wireless network. Therefore, having two people controlling one Hiptop is the only practical way to implement real-time competition in current technology. In future, this restriction might be lifted. If you do not like having two players controlling one Hiptop, you can always resort to Single-Player Mode, which is still fun.
